Every woman experiences the period called menopause or climax. It is the specific period in women life when estrogen development by ovaries terminates. Usually it comes at 50 years of age. Objectively it is revealed by estrogen level decrease in blood and menstrual periods termination. Generally the process is individual. Every woman experiences it in a different way. At the average the physiological process starts in women of 45-50 years of age and depends on various factors. Heredity plays a big role. Menopause may start earlier or later.

Menopause is characterized by full termination of female sexual hormones development in the female organism, menstrual cycle disorders (change in discharge amount), change in mucous of vagina (dryness), and uterus reduction. A word ‘menopause’ literally translated from Latin means ‘end of menstrual bleeding.’

Symptoms of menopause may appear about 51 years of age, but may be experienced earlier. The early beginning of menopause does not mean anything, just your organism feature. But women should be prepared for this process physically and morally. For this purpose it is better know some symptoms to reveal the beginning of menopause.

Symptoms of menopause include: sudden changes in menstrual cycle, menstrual bleeding may be profuse or irregular; weight gain, especially in the belly, or on the contrary weight loss; sleep disorders or anxiety never experienced earlier; night disposition to sweating, accompanied by hot flush; unusual mood swings, depression without visible reasons; and irritability.

Also you can face the following problems: sudden change in libido, sexual inclination may be increased or lowered, sudden change of short-term memory. Though menstrual periods are still stable and the doctors even recommend using contraceptive medication for protection, the women starts to understand that ageing process is inevitably coming, but different women relate to this state in different way. After the first symptoms of menopause, women experience menopause and worry. Some of them getting upset of thought that they cannot have children, but some, on the contrary, breathe freely with end of menstrual periods.

However, a woman can react in different way, but the process is inevitable. All women pass through this period of life, just be ready.

Climax is not a disease or disorder of the organism. Menopause is a transient state between two life stages of women when menstrual bleeding terminates. Various symptoms testify about hormonal changes during menopause. If consider menopause signs, the first is the age. Menopause occurs in certain age, therefore knowing approximate period we can compare to other signs and realize that menopause has come. The exact age of climax is impossible to define, because the processes responsible for ovaries activity have not been studied yet. Also we can say that this process occurs individually, but certain average time frames of menopause coming can be defined. It is the age of 45-56 years. However, as it was told above, it can be observed individually, earlier or later. The shorter time intervals between menstrual periods can be the first sign of menopause approaching. During menopause, menstrual periods come unexpectedly.

Before climax bone density and cholesterol level are decreased leading to cardiovascular diseases. The following first signs can testify about menopause: mood swings, depression, chronic weakness, headaches, change of menstrual cycle, pain, spasms, blood sugar fluctuations, body water retention, sleep disorder, low libido, painful urination and skin ageing.

Besides, during premenopausal period an estrogen level is sharply decreased in woman. However, the reason of estrogen level decrease should be revealed. It may not be associated with menopause. The doctor will define menopause after checking gonadotropin level in blood or urine. If hormones level is high, the hypophysis releases them for extra stimulation of ovaries activity. It means that the process begins.

Generally, it is impossible to say that menopause came, even if the said signs are observed. Any modern and advanced analysis cannot define when a woman experiences climax. So, ask your mother when she experienced this process in order to be ready because it depends very much on hereditary.

Menopause is the beginning of a new life for a woman. In the beginning of this process there is nothing bad and you can feel many positive effects. As this process is inevitable you will have to adapt. Knowing when you can expect the beginning of this process will help you to prepare.

If men hardly survive the beginning of the middle-age-crisis, the end of it is far harder for women. Women feel approaching the middle age more sensually. Significant changes are going in the female organism. If say more precisely this is an approaching menopause (climax). This physiological process is specific and though it is inevitable for every woman in certain age, but it is discussed not too much. Women can tell, for example, about their marriage, divorce, facial surgery, their preferences in sex and drug addiction, even about their body weight. But they never tell about approach menopause.

Menopause is an exact undeniable symptom of age. When this period is approaching, life of women starts to be changed. Though healthy food, sport activity and good gens protect your appearance, you do not lose your attraction, you look healthy, nevertheless, approaching menopause, most likely, makes you to remember many terrible stories associated with this period of the life.

Climax is a physiological state of the woman’s organism when a hormonal background is changed, ovary and hypophysis functionality is lowered. Main clinical symptom of climax is the menstrual flow termination. Many women consider this process as very negative and with its approaching are getting upset, but some woman on the contrary are happy to this change of their life and thereafter they are busy and full of joyful life. But this depends on many factors: the process, the organism tolerance, symptoms, and also a menopause age plays a very important role.

An average age of menopause in women is after 45 years. Generally the beginning of the menopause lasts from 45 to 56 year of age. All depends on predisposition, heredity and many different factors. Cases when menopause came much earlier or after the specified age have been reported. The age of menopause plays a big role in relation to this process and the further life.

The menstrual bleeding termination means that a woman has lost reproductive function, consequently cannot have children anymore. If this process is experienced in early age it will lead to other serious reactions. Menopause may occur early due to various reasons, for example surgery on ovaries leading to polycystic ovary. However, in any age this process means only a new stage in every woman’s life. It does not mean the termination of youth and life, and many women start a new, even brighter, life at menopause. So, you should find the positive moments.

Except usual ageing of the organism, women experience such physiological process as menopause.

Menopause is a normal physiological process in certain age in all women. So, having reached the certain age, every woman passes this process that changes her further life. Menopause is one of physiological processes affecting the whole organism. This process is called climax that means from Greek a ‘step’ to a new life because it is a period of numerous changes. Menopause is characterized by female estrogen hormones development disorder. The doctors call this process the full termination of menstrual periods. During menopause the hormonal background is changed, ovaries and hypophysis functionality is decreased leading to menstrual periods termination, change of vagina mucous (dryness), and uterus reduction.

Menopause, except hormonal background change, is characterized by the most unpleasant property, ageing. Really, menopause is a synonym of ageing of women. Menopause starts usually in women at the age of 45-50 years and depends on different factors. Sometimes menopause may start earlier or later. Some women are afraid of approaching menopause and consider these changing as something horrible, some women, on the contrary, face the changes as a new stage of the life. Every woman considers this physiological process and this stage in different way according to her opinion.

If menopause is naturally coming at the proper age not due to diseases or surgery, it can be divided into three stages:

Premenopause — the period from the beginning of ovaries functionality decrease to menopause;
Menopause — the period of premenopause and postmenopause, including one year after menopause;
Postmenopause — the period after menopause to old age.

After menopause process termination, the woman during menopause comes from the reproductive period to unproductive, losing ability to conceive and give birth to a child.

The organism responds to new changes in a different way. But menopause symptoms are almost identical. They include emotional disorders, headaches, tachycardia, irritability, weakness, depression, forgetfulness. Only the doctor can relieve menopause process. Therefore, after first symptoms of this process, women are recommended to visit the doctor.

The first thing you should know, if you don’t already, is that women LOVE to be touched. Touch is very important to all humans, but it is, generally, much more important to women, and they respond very strongly to touch. It is a powerful reward to a woman when you touch her, and it can instantly make her feel great.

Now, of course, some women are more reserved about it…some are more formal and are not comfortable feeling such good feelings with someone until they know them well. Some women are just closed off and don’t like anyone to enter their space, and even in a relationship, they resist having another person touch them so easily…And some women simply do not like being touched. They find it unpleasant and they recoil from it. But the truth is, women in those last two categories (ABSOLUTELY those in the last one) have had some trauma in their lives, probably child sexual abuse, that has damaged them to the extent that they can’t accept this natural and beautiful form of shared pleasure. That’s a sad truth of the world.

For the other women, depending on their degree of shyness, touch is always a pleasure and a treat…assuming they like the guy that is touching them, and it’s appropriate to the relationship. By appropriate, I mean, a female friend might love it if you rub her shoulders, but might be uncomfortable with something more “romantic,” like caressing her hair and cheek.

I am going to talk about touching in a romantic context, whether it be on a first date or with your wife of 20 years. And I’m not talking about directly sexual touching.

Sensual touching is an art that you should definitely spend some time mastering — because it will be incredibly rewarding to both you and the woman in your life.

1. Touch her more. However much you are already touching your girlfriend, wife, or lover…you can do it more often. I can’t emphasize enough how much of an emotional connection and bond can be formed by this simple action. Women link many feelings of sexuality, love, and trust with the sensations that are aroused in them when a man puts his hands on her.

It can make her feel both sexually excited and safe at the same time. It can also make her body release certain chemicals into her blood that make her feel more attraction to and more comfort with the man that she is with.

How’s that for the simplest tip ever?

Try it out. I promise that it is as effective as it is simple.

2. Look into her eyes. Well, here’s one that’s even more simple…but again…it’s so much more powerful than it sounds. When you are putting your hand on her, whether you are caressing or squeezing…or petting or holding or any other kind of touching…Look into her eyes as you are doing it.

You will find that if you hold eye contact with a woman — even if she looks down for a moment — she will be drawn into your gaze and that you can hold her there. This will add an amazing amount of emotional intensity to your touch. She will feel it deeply in her body.

You may think, heck, I already look at her when I touch her…But just try this — try being aware of intentionally holding her eye contact as you touch her.

I think you will find that it makes a very big difference.

3.Try touching her in new ways. There are particular types of touching that women find more romantic, more sensual, and more arousing than others. And, of course, since all women are different, you’re going to have to do some experimenting to find out what the woman in your life responds to most. The key is to really tune in to her and notice how she is responding. That tuning in or “Paying Attention” that I always talk about, is actually the really important part of this tip…

But here are a few ways you should try touching her — most women respond very positively towards ALL of them.

Pay attention to see which ones your girl goes for:

# Use the very tips of your fingers and run them very, very lightly, so that it is almost a tickle, anywhere (or everywhere) on her skin.

# Stroke her gently, but not tentatively with the entire face of your hand. Try running it up her back, her neck, her legs, arms, or the side of her face.

# Just hold her firmly. This can be such a powerful feeling for a woman. Just place your hand on her shoulder, the back of her neck, her thigh, arm, or hand…and just hold her. Let her feel your masculine strength, but don’t, obviously, hurt her. If you do this right, she should feel the tenderness and protectiveness behind your touch.

# Cup her with your hand, and stroke gently with your thumb…This combines the first idea of gentle finger tips with the last one of holding her firmly…

I particularly like to hold the back of her neck and then gently stroke her cheek with my thumb…while looking into her eyes. Also try holding the back of her head and stroking her temple, or hold her arm and stroke her shoulder, or her thigh and stroke her knee.

Add eye contact to all of these and she will melt.

# Pet her hair. I have never met a woman who does not enjoy having her hair stroked. For girls with straight hair, you can let your fingers run through it. If she has curly hair, just pet, so that you don’t get stuck and start yanking on her knots!

To really send her into orbit, start at her neck and use your fingers to pet upwards into her hair along her scalp. You can bring a woman very close to orgasm with this one.

4.Feel With Your Feelings. I saved the best one for last…but it is also the one that is most complicated to explain, and can be more challenging for some men to master. That’s because, as guys, we’re just not as “in touch with our feelings” as women are. But this is of HUGE importance if you really want to rock her world in ways that will make her forget any other guy she has ever been with.

The basic truth is: A woman can FEEL, not just the physical sensation of your hand on her skin, but also she can FEEL the emotional content of your touch.

I know this sounds a little bit “out there,” but again, as always, I challenge you to TRY it before you dismiss it because this is really an incredibly powerful truth. When you touch a woman while thinking sexual thoughts about her, and when you focus that intent into your touch, she will FEEL it very strongly… and her body will respond to it. That sexual energy will flow from you and into her.

Likewise, when you feel tender feelings of attraction and protectiveness for your woman, and you stroke her hair, it makes her feel loved and safe. And there is nothing that will provide you both with a more amazing night of mind-melting sex than when the woman in your arms feels loved and safe.

I know that I’m leaving a lot out here, and that, especially this last tip is kind of hard to wrap your brain around. The truth is, that this issue of touching with emotion is part of a MUCH bigger picture of understanding women and female sexuality, and just too big a topic for this article.

However, don’t hesitate to get started by using the great tips above. You will be amazed that even these brain-dead simple tips
can make a huge difference in how women respond to you sexually.

If you are in a relationship, you will be even more amazed at the positive changes that just a tiny bit of information can cause. You can go to a marriage counselor, or talk to a therapist, or read books on “communicating” better, but there is NOTHING in my experience that improves a relationship more or strengthens the bond between a man and a woman than touch and sex.

Vaginismus is an involuntary tensing of the muscles surrounding the vaginal opening preventing anything from penetrating it. A woman with vaginismus doesn’t control this muscle tensing; it’s an involuntary pelvic response to anything attempting to penetrate the vagina. And for some women it can make sex extremely painful or even impossible.

There are two types of vaginismus: primary and secondary. Primary vaginismus occurs in women the very first time they try to have penetrative sex and on any subsequent occasion they attempt it, while secondary vaginismus occurs suddenly in women who have never previously had any problems with penetration.
As well as penetrative sex being a problem, which understandably can be detrimental to a woman’s sexual relationship, vaginismus can also make gynecological and pelvic examinations very difficult. If this is so, a woman may require anesthesia before she can be examined by a doctor.

There are degrees of severity of vaginismus ranging from the inability to insert anything at all into the vagina, to being able to insert a penis, but with accompanying pain and tightness which prevents a woman from enjoying sex. In addition, some women experience the problem off and on for a number of years. They have to constantly be on guard to control and relax their muscles in order to have penetrative sex when they recognize the symptoms of vaginismus occurring.

Symptoms

While the primary symptom of vaginismus is the difficulty to insert anything in the vagina, other symptoms may include burning or stinging pain in the vagina if it’s penetrated by a tampon, finger, or penis; and an intense fear of penetration, which can lead to avoidance of sex resulting in disastrous consequences for a woman’s intimate relationship. However, there’s nothing a woman suffering from vaginismus can do to prevent her vaginal muscles from tensing up; it’s an involuntary protective reaction to the expectation of penetration.

Although this condition can put a huge strain on a woman’s relationship, it’s wrong to assume that women who suffer with vaginismus can’t enjoy sex. A woman with vaginismus can still share sexual pleasure with her partner. She can enjoy foreplay, oral sex, and mutual masturbation, and achieve orgasm. It’s only when her body feels threatened by the act of penetration in the form of sexual intercourse that her vaginal muscles close up making the act very painful, if not impossible.

Causes

The causes of vaginismus aren’t fully understood, although it’s believed that for some women it’s triggered by a past traumatic experience such as a difficult childbirth or sexual abuse. Associating sexual intercourse with trauma, these women’s bodies will involuntarily “close up” to prevent them experiencing further pain.

While there are instances where a woman’s past experiences will influence her attitude to sex and be the underlying factor in her developing vaginismus, there are a high number of women who don’t have this association and want to have penetrative sex, but their bodies just won’t co-operate.

Treatment

In order to treat vaginismus, it’s necessary to establish the root cause. If the cause is an obvious physical condition such as an injury or infection, then this can be remedied with the appropriate medication. If it’s not easy to determine what’s causing the condition, a woman may want to try some self-help techniques. A sex therapist may be able to help retrain the body to relax and respond normally to penetration.

Underlying psychological issues, such as fear or anxiety, can be addressed through counseling, while cognitive behavioral therapy may help to re-educate women about sex and deal with any irrational beliefs they may have about it.

Vaginismus can be successfully treated and no woman suffering with this condition needs to feel that she’s alone or isolated. Treatment programs can often be carried out at home, giving a woman the opportunity to work in privacy and at her own pace.

When a demanding and chaotic world is so overwhelming, and a woman’s role is somewhat confusing, the result is the ‘depressed housewife’. ‘Housewife’ is a term used loosely, since today’s women are much more than simple ‘housewives’, and their contribution to society is so often taken for granted. Most women are confused by their role in life. The feminist movement has empowered the woman to achieve corporate success, while the natural yearnings of her soul lead her toward the security, love, and tenderness of a family-life.

How does this confusion affect the average woman? When ten to twenty percent of the general population is depressed at some point in their lives, and this percentage is made up of twice as many women as men, the answer is so obvious that it hurts.

For the past thirty to forty years, women have been fighting for respect and recognition as more than just ‘housewives’. Women are now encouraged from childhood to put away their dolls and get an education. After the education is complete, a family is started and the woman is in pursuit of her career. She soon finds herself praised on one hand for her accomplishments, and persecuted on the other for neglecting her role as a dutiful housewife!

There is also found a handful of women who cannot ignore their desire to experience the traditionally accepted life of a woman. These are the women who devote their lives to nurturing a home and family. Their aspirations are no doubt cherished by
their children, and perhaps even their husbands. However, equal disapproval is shot their way by those who view them as inferior, lacking ambition, and possibly even plain old lazy.

How, in the face of these conflicting opinions, is the woman expected to find her niche? How is her soul, the center of her being, expected to be at peace when it is torn so violently in different directions? How can the devastating reality of the ‘depressed housewife’ be overcome?

The first and most important step is one prescribed to most desperate situations: acceptance. In a busy society it is sometimes difficult to recognize the fact that a problem even exists. When people are faced with overwhelming events or circumstances it is easy to feel depressed and discouraged. However, when these feelings persist for weeks, months, or even years, there is a problem. Generally, this problem requires professional help, but considering only one out of every three people who are depressed seeks medical attention there is yet another issue to address.

Most people, particularly women, who are labelled by society as over-sensitive and somewhat dramatic, consider the involvement of medicine to be a sign of weakness. Some fear the inevitable judgement of their cruel society, and mingled with all of this is the concern that others may think they are overreacting or seeking attention. In response to this, women must ask themselves if they would concern themselves with these issues if they had a heart condition, or a cancer requiring medical attention.

Depression is a disease; a malfunction in the body that must be addressed and treated so that the body can continue to function correctly. Most women are more than willing to aggressively combat and correct other bodily malfunctions, and depression should be treated no less aggressively. It is the silent killer, causing many to, if not physically, mentally slip away and ultimately cease to exist. It should never be regarded as shameful, but rather as a legitimate medical condition to which the woman must react accordingly. Besides, she would be surprised to uncover the masses of other ‘housewives’ secretly popping the little yellow pill.

If medicine was the solution for complete bliss, life would be peachy. Unfortunately, it is not the solution to many of the day-to-day problems that the ‘depressed housewife’ must continue to face. It is, however, a giant leap in the right direction. Taking the initiative to seek medical aid for depression will help clear the smoke enough for her to find the strength she needs to push forward through the chaos and discover the simplicity in life (which does, despite much evidence to the contrary, still exist). It then becomes her responsibility to continue helping herself.
